Handwoven & Embellished Kankuama Mochila
Handcrafted by women of the Kankuama community in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, this mochila is more than an accessory — it’s a living symbol of ancestral wisdom, deep connection to the land, and cultural heritage.
Each bag is meticulously crafted over several days using natural fibers that are hand-spun and woven with the traditional Kankuama technique — a sacred practice passed down through generations. It is then artistically embellished by hand with sequins, beads, and shiny details, blending modern aesthetics with ancient roots.
The result: a powerful, authentic mochila filled with history — perfect for carrying both heritage and style anywhere in the world.
